How Our Process Works

Reach out and schedule your initial consultation

Begin by sending an email or making a phone call. You’ll start with an initial phone consultation with Debra to discuss your needs and next steps.

You’ll also receive a client intake questionnaire to complete as best you can before your meeting. Don’t worry if you can’t finish everything—Debra will go through it with you during your appointment.

Meet with Debra and design your estate plan

You’ll meet with Debra at a location that’s convenient for you. During this meeting, she’ll take the time to understand your family, assets, retirement plans, investments, and overall goals.

Together, you’ll review your options for a will-based or trust-based estate plan and discuss important decisions such as selecting agents for your powers of attorney.

Once you’ve chosen the plan that fits your needs, you’ll sign an agreement to move forward and a draft of your estate plan will be emailed to you within about a week for your review.

Review, finalize, and receive your documents

After you’ve reviewed your draft, a signing meeting will be scheduled. At this meeting, each document will be carefully reviewed, signed, and notarized.

Your original documents will then be scanned and organized before being delivered to you in a folder within two weeks. You’ll also receive digital copies via email for easy access anytime.
